Aux fan wiring for early model

I've got a late model radiator but it's an early model. There's 3 wires on the temp switch and there are 4 originally on the early model rad. I had to extend the wires to do it and my guesses of what went where ended up failing. I've gotten the A/C button to turn it on 3 times, but when mitchell said it was blowing the wrong way, I tried reversing them and I haven't gotten it to work since.

No A/C compressor, I just want the stock A/C button to control the fan. Also, I heated a temp switch with a soldering iron and the fan didn't come on, so I'm sure I've got the wiring wrong.

I'm sure somebody's had this problem before, but I can't find any information on it.

The early model connectors have 2 thin spade receivers and 2 normal size ones. One of the two thin ones has two wires going into it and the other just has one. On the switch the pins are labeled 1/0 2/T1 3/T2 I think.

I appreciate any help you can give.

or does anyone know which wire in the engine bay of an early model gets power when the a/c button is pressed? at least we could temporarily get the fan to work whenever it's pressed for now...

So far I've been bridging the switch connectors to keep my fan on all the time. Yesterday I replaced my fan with a quieter higher CFM one with only one speed, and it still only works when the connection is bridged.

When I press the A/C button, the button lights up and it turns on the blower like it's supposed to, but no power to the fan. I can't understand what's wrong with it, so does anyone have some advice now that the fan is ruled out as being faulty?
