    3.5 maf with odbII?

I searched around here but all i found reference to was in conjunction with OBDI and the stardard 540/740/euro MAF. Is it even possible and if so which MAF do i need?

You need a Porsche "803" MAF. As far as I know that's the only one people use with OBDII cars.

You need to program your ECU to match it though. You can almost sorta get away with using a euro MAF on an OBDI car, but the 803 is WAY different.

So to my understanding the "803" is actually from a 911 from 93-98 (aka 993)?

This is the PN i have for it: 993-606-123-01

My ECU will be tuned for it

        This unit is porsche # 993 606 123 01 & Bosch # 0 280 217 803 . This is the 3.5" HFM. Made by BOSCH.
Nevermind found my answer and now i understand why its called an 803
