almost start but not yet please help

M52 obdI conversion

Engine will crank over for a bout 3 seconds then stop for 1 second then start turning over agian, and does this over and over sometimes shooting out flames from the headers, and back firing. If I unplug the ecu it will turn over and over no problem. What is up?


I am also running a m50 nv crank wheel will this have anything to do with it.

Put the right crank wheel on.

Yeah they are slighty diffrent. This happend to my friend on his nv car. Nice job getting it running.

The dowel pin hole is about 45 deg different location.

I put a vanos m50 wheel on my NV swap...
