    S50B30 or S52B32 swap?

    Any major frame modifications needed?

    Suspension?

I'm guessing a new trans is necessary, along with wiring harness and ECU.

    Thanks!

Search noob. Everything you could possibly need to know about doing a 24v swap into an E30 is here.

Don't be lazy, no one will help you out that way.

Yes yes, I'm sorry...jumped in too soon by posting the thread. A search for "m50b30" and "m52b32" found nothing useful, except this section, and I am now reading the "comprehensive 24v dohc swap thread" or whatever it's called.

You can delete this if you want, sorry.

          You dont say...

As time went on, the factory developed the car each year, making it faster, more comfortable, and capable of handling at higher speeds.
You don’t want this. You want the trickiest, most dangerous, oldest model you can find. Only then can you prove to the world that you’re a man.

Yeah I had to put my motor in the trunk. It wont fit in the engine bay.

Wtf is with everybody and the fuckin smallblock swaps these days i've heard more about freakin Ls1 swaps lately than ever before. Ok its cheap power and weighs the same as a S52 but its a freakin abortion. If it says BMW on the hood that's what should be in the engine bay i say

Remember, the more engine type digits - the more it won't fit into the engine bay, rule of thumb:)

Naw man, you gotta run parallel motorcycle V-twins. Like four of them should do the trick.

Or maybe a radial out of a WWII fighter plane. Those things made like 2000 hp.
