I've got a 328i that just got hit a couple of weeks ago...in between the insurance payout and how poor the resale for E36's have gotten (body isn't in great shape in the first place), I think it would pay out better to part out the car as a DOHC swap donor.
Engine runs well, has 135k miles, JimC SharkInjected ecu and plenty of new gaskets installed since I bought the car in 2007. I got 30 mpg the last time I took a road trip in it. Trans shifts smoothly, no leaks from the engine or trans.
I'm thinking of pulling the entire engine/trans/harness as a package...everything for a swap that can be pulled from an e36...what sounds good? (no shipping/delivery)
