    Ebay scam?

    Says its an S52 but the vin # tells me its a M52b28. WBA not WBS

    This auction is for engine off of a stripped 97 M3 auto with last reported 117000 miles,VIN#WBACD4320VAV48164.The engine was running fine and compression test was performed-190-205 psi thru all cylinders.This auction is for the long block with intake manifold,pulleys and oil pan only.If you need any of the accessories please let me know.There is no shipping included with this auction,so unless you will pick it up,please contact me for shipping quote.
    I can convert the engine to OBDI.
    I have many parts from this car available,just ask.

    The car's got the right upper strut mounts though.. Hmm odd.

    But you are right, the VIN number is funky..

      Definitely funky... Ask him to look at the stamped casing of the block. Next to the drivers side motor mount arm.

        They updated the VIN number with one that comes up as an S52.
