    M52B28 OBDII swap EWS off ECU connecting wires

    Hi all,

    Planning to start my E30 OBDII M52 swap with EWS off ECU.

    Can't find on the internet which wires I should connect to let the engine start?

      EWS has to be flashed off the ECU, you can't just connect a few wires together.

          Yes I did this myself since this is no problem for me as software engineer. However, I read on the internet that beside modifying the software for EWS off you also should connect some wires.

          Never mind, my engine did started direclty. Only problem I am having now is alternator wire related (see my new topic).
