    M52 swap Remote FPR question

I have a question about using a remote FPR as the fuel rail I have doesn't have one built in.

M50 manifold using a conversion kit from Kassel Performance
Original silver M52 fuel rail with no FPR

I was told I can use an 3/2 valve like the one here: https://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/sho...diagId=13_1729

I pulled one from a junkyard car and it has an electrical connection. My question is do I need to plug this in or can I ignore it and just plug in the fuel lines and vacuum?

Is there a better way to do this?

If you have seen this done before where is it typically mounted?

    Thanks!

I'm running the valve on my swap and haven't had a single problem with it aside from a little pioneering needed to mount it. I have it plugged in and I believe it won't work properly without. I have it basically floating near the frame rail underneath the brake booster, with the tension of the fuel lines are keeping it away from the steering shaft. I'm planning on tacking a stud to the frame rail so its securely mounted, but JB welding one would likely be easier and be just fine. I spent a bunch of time with that damn 3/2 valve so don't hesitate to ask me any questions!
