    Oil leak on Vanos

Found some oil, quite a bit actually seeping out of the front of the motor, coming from the centre of the vanos,in between the exhaust and inlet cams, just behind where the solenoid cover is....

Any ideas on how to solve this and where is it coming from???

Could be the large bolt/plug, or could be the vanos gasket. Without a picture, I could be wrong. Try to tighten the "plugs" then the housing bolts.

makes sure you have fresh crush washers on both sides of the oil line that feeds the vanos

        check the pic....
i removed the cover of the solenoids and found a little oil there... the black circle is where its leaking...
dont mind the silicone, i thought it was leaking from the cam box so i put some there but it was not the place

Looks like its your upper timing chain cover? If it is.. that's a PITA.

luckily it aint the upper timing chain cover, its coming from in between the cover and the vanos....
