Drivetrain S54 swap

Hey guys,

Can I use a ZF 5 speed and e36 driveshaft with a e36 M3 diff for a s54 swap in a E30? Currently have a 1990 BMW 325 automatic.

Let me elaborate on "No" and help you.

ZF 5 speeds will swap between M/S52 and M/S54 engines.

The E36 diff wont fit the e30 chassis, but the E36 188mm ring/pinion/LSD can be swapped into an E30 188mm diff housing.

The driveshaft depends on the transmission in the e30 chassis. I can't remember the specifics for what, but i see it asked often. Search the r3vlimited FB group.
