If I see you post "search" or something similar in threads that aren't very common one more time, I will TO you for a week.

          I should've specified, I didn't mean just r3v. I meant on other E30/36 forums as well.

No builds, but there's a small amount of information in this thread:

what makes an S54 swap harder than an S50?
i thought both required new wiring harness, ecu, exhaust, e-fans and different cooling system?
                    Much wow

^ Yep, but an s54 swap is like an s52 + m54 combo swap. Much more involved.

Thanks for that information from Fredk, Fredk....but I think I may go back to the Darkside. It had me once, it may get me again. I am looking for something a bit more straigthforward, so the E36 may be the way to go. Plus, here in Germany, a good condition, swap-worthy E36 will be cheaper than the same condition E30. A good 320/325/328i will be easy to come by.
But I will be keeping my E30 Touring until it dies.

                          S54 into both: http://www.r3vlimited.com/board/showthread.php?t=163941

                          S54 into E36: http://www.m3forum.net/m3forum/showthread.php?t=282021

Basically, search bimmerforums, m3forum, or r3v for threads by/included Alex L./M3 Euro LTW. He is making a plug and play kit for the S54 -> E30/E36 swap. www.abloriginalparts.com

                          Hope that helps!

I would look around on bimmer forums. I don't have any links but, there are lots of those popping up over there.
