    S54 powered E30 project

    I spotted this thread on another forum and thought you guys might be interested ?

    Here we go again...S54 E30 Transplant...

    As always I'll try to document everything as well as I can...A new site has been created http://E30.mit.edu/ But of course nothing is there yet... So the story is...my older cousin...David...is also an avid BMW enthusiast...and has an E30...and I have an extra S54 engine...so it seems only...

          There's a guy here in Oz who has an E30 M3, and an S54 w/ SMG sitting beside it for install. I suspect people are moving on from the "it's impossible" heresay.

                          repost but yeah... you get rid of a lot of the confusion by using an aftermarket ems... its not that hard of a swap still though just expensive.... you looking at over 15k if you get the motor and trans for 3k
