    Good Intake for S54 Swap???

    What is everybody's opinion on this intake for an s54 swap?

    Seems like may be able to retain factory booster/master cyl locations???

    Nevermind on second thought way too close to booster. Search continues...

      I run the stock S54 intake manifold with the 2002 booster mod and stock MC setup.
      As far as the actual intake- I have the Bimmerworld Silicone Intake boot with a modified E46 M3 MAF housing (just the part that houses the MAF Sensor- since I don't have Alpha N/ MAF-less). This hard plastic housing piece mates the silicone boot to an ECIS E46 M3 air filter-which is a K&N63 replacement.

      There are many different options- CSL replica airbox being the the most costliest with the greater return of horsepower.
      If looks could kill:::

        $1600 is a rip off for a fiberglass manifold that looks that ugly. Technica has yet to show true numbers on this vs a stock plenum. Also they've never had a big release of their production e46 m3 turbo kit that they were raving about right before Maximum PSI and Nick G dropped theirs.

        You're better served modifying/having the stock intake modified by Castro Motorsport to clear your booster.
