S54 Head oil drain with E34 sump

What is everyone doing with this, Re-routing it somewhere, if so where? Looks too important to block off.

I hooked it up to my drain plug.

The stock E46 pan uses a drain fitting that has the same threading as the drain plug on the E34 pan.

It's probably not ideal, but that's what I did.
