Thank you...couldn't have gotten it running without all your help. Appreciate you letting me ask 5000 questions lol -
Good job man! all that hard work pays off eh? The power and sound of the s54 is very addicting :)Leave a comment:

I don't think it's necessary to change it that much, personally I'd do it once at 100 miles and then do a regular oil change interval after that.Leave a comment:

30 miles??
Damn, now you have me concerned.
I've done around 75 miles so far.
Was going to do a couple hundred before an oil change.Leave a comment:

Uhm, their tires are also 2" taller than e30's tires. :)
That makes a huge difference.
My 3,46 in an e30 is equivalent to a 4,10 in a m3Leave a comment:

I'm still breaking in the clutch as well so I haven't been above 4k.
I went 30 miles on first change. Plan for 500 on second, then 500 again, then will switch to syntheticLeave a comment:

Haha yeah.
6 speed e30's are hella fun.
Still being gentle with mine until I break in the clutch and rod bearings.
How many miles are you going g on the the first oil change?Leave a comment:

Oops yes I meant csb...original post edited, thanks
Yeah the 3.73 makes 1st pretty much unnecessaryLeave a comment:

3,73 must be ridiculous.
I have a 3,46 in mine and I feel like 1st gear is almost useless.Leave a comment:

Our builds are almost identical, except you spend a lot more rebuilding your engine than I did. Haha.
You mean you used an e30 center support bearing, not guibo.
I figured out a lot of the stuff you mentioned.
Nice write up.Leave a comment:

Dave, I ended up having a shop in dallas for it. I wanted to be able to physically appear at the shop if there was an issue or I needed to retune
I mostly didn't change them because I was over budget at that point and the ones I wanted would've been another 1kLeave a comment:

Any particular reason why you didnt change the rods while you were at it ?Leave a comment:
