    M54 + Getrag 240, Engine arms question

Im working up to swapping my 318is with a m54. I understand that a G240 will fit a M50 the same as it bolts to my M42, and bolt properly in the car (not shifted 10 degrees). I would also need a 325i shiftier and a E36 drive shaft.

Now my question is if i ran a G240 would I need to use the M50 E36 engine arms? or would the standard m54 530i arms work?

Any reason I shouldn't do this?

i think from my research it occupies the same space as an m50 would in terms of what it bolts up to and how it's oriented once attached to the trans

You need the e36 arms so the engine gets straight, it is the same as any m5x swap
