oh wow yes 3k for an S54 motor with only 18k miles def sounds too good to be true, and to be on ebay for 2yrs and not have a paypal is def a little shady. That is of course if he was just not buying anything and just had an account just to have one, u never know, but if def sounds too good to be true.
Can pick up a S54 cheap, what say you?

This will not work. The US S52 (barely a stroked M50 motor) had on-off Vanos while the S54 has the same progessive Vanos as the Euro S50-52 motors built by Rolls-Royce. Maybe the only way to run a S54 in an e30 is with an aftermarket EMS, which will cost around $2k to purchase, and $3k to developp. Here goes $5k out the door, with the engine not purchased yet.Brake harder. Go faster. No shit.

I have this setup available.
2004 S54, with EVERYTHING on it, 6 speed, keys, cluster, etc. 19k DOCUMENTED miles, I knew the owner personally (he bought it new, and broke it in PERFECTLY as per the factory recommendations.)
No, it is not 3k shipped, unless you want to use money order or western union. :mrgreen:Joe Funk -- Portland Oregon
