E30 s38b36 oil sump setup

What oil sump are you guys running? I know the hartge sump is ideal but super rare. Have looked into some aftermarket options but seen to be only for the m5x/s5x swaps. Would I have to use the m30 sump for the swap?

I would use the e34 m5 s38 b36 oil pan. I have it one of my e30 swaps. Never had a issue.

Are you using spacers for clearance off the subframe and steering rack?

On my m88/3 b35 motor no spacers on e34 m5 oil pan. No 10mm or 20mm spacers. I lowered the steering rack on my stock subframe to clear oil pan.

What did you use to lower your rack? Lowering it doesn't mess with the angles?
