going to look at an 89 325ix tomorrow - what do i look for?

I am going to look at an 89 325ix tomorrow - 204k miles, 5-speed. Owner says car has no issues with the transfer case or front axles.

I own an e34, so I am somewhat familiar with this era of BMW. However, what should I be specifically looking for on the ix in terms of trouble areas and what not?

any help would be appreciated :)

Buy it and fix what's broken. Unless it's a rust bucket. E30's are fading away rather quikly. My car got 29 mpg today on a 50 mile road trip. Insane.

just buy mine for 1500 and fix it up. im parting it out but so far no one has paid me for any parts. so u can still get it whole.

thanks, but the price is better than what you are offering, and the car is advertised as near mint. It's also a few blocks from my house, which is nice.
