Humm in the rear? At certain speeds

    Did this issue ever get resolved. Mine is doing the same thing from the same rear left section (driver's side) and I'd like to get it fixed.

      My 325ix had a humming also in the rear left. It was the wheel bearing for me. BTW, it is a pain in the buttocks if you do this yourself and you don't have the $400 BMW tool...at least for me. I used a normal wheel bearing press + some other pieces and it took me forever to take out/put in.

        Could be the other wheel bearing... Also - make sure your ebrake isn't rubbing.
        After that, I would be questioning something in the VC. Does it happen in neutral?
