    What to look for

Hey I am looking at two 325ix's and I was wondering what I should look for.

I know to check for rust, seats, dash, intake boot, etc. But what should I look for specific to the ix?

Any links/stickies for info would be appreciated.

Front CV boots - torn boots can mean the joint is shot. This means a new axle.

Front driveshaft splines - check for obvious spline wear and try and see if the lubricant is still there.

T-case - if you can do the jack test (search for it, there are some good threads about how to do it) it will tell you if the VC in the case is still good.
If tires are not all the same or have dramatically different tread depth, they can screw up the t-case.

Tie rods + Steering rack - both are very expensive to replace.
