I replaced both engine mounts on my 88 325iX and there is a distinct rattling noise coming from the glove box compartment. More noticable when I'm in first gear accelerating. Anybody has experience this?

Is it possible your new engine mounts have newer more firm rubber that absorbs less of the vibrations? -
That's what I thought too. So anyone who replaces new mounts suffer what I've been through?Comment
