Ideal offset and tire size for 16x7.5

I was wondering what the ideal offset and tire size was for 16x7.5 rims on an ix? I'd like stock tire height. Don't need any of this hella flush stuff (stretched tires). Just decent flush with the wheel arches/flares.

Also ideal for 8" rims would be awesome too. (even though I can't find many)

Ive got ET22 on mine. 205-40 on 17x7.5

et22 looks nice. Did you have to do any fender rolling? Is your car stock ride height?

Mine is about 4cm lower than stock. If u got a late model ull need to smack the rear fender a bit at top.
