Do you have to remove the transmission at all to get the t case off

you do not. manuals are harder to remove than autos because the top two bolts are hard to get to. with a u-joint socket a short extension, another u-joint, and another 2 feet of extensions, you can get to them after you remove exhaust, heat shield, drive shaft, trans brace and let the rear of the trans down a couple inches.sigpic
