    Turner Motorsport driveshaft for ix

    Does anyone know anything about this special driveshaft? They claim it has a replaceable U-Joint.

    Their picture shows a second mid-shaft u-joint. The Driveshaft in the ix I just looked at had a single piece drive shaft with only one u-joint on the diff side. On the plus side it's $500. BavAuto and PelicanParts both want to special order a BMW one for close to $800.

    I'm open to other purchasing options, but I can find no real info out there on where to get these things from that is still valid.

        Oh my, um... I do not recall. While it was not cheap, it was what my car needed to keep it properly maintained. If you want me to guess, I'll say $500.00.

        If it is really important, I can look it up but why don't you just call him and ask how much it would be for yours?
