Front CV / Axle Shaft Question

Looking at Advance Auto www.advanceauto.com I see a $65.00 CV being offered for a 325ix.
I only see one listed (passenger only). It is a FENCO rebuilt.

I looked the part number up on a FENCO part catalog and found that is was for the automatic version of a 325ix...

Anyone had any luck / opinion on Fenco?

Is the drivers side CV shaft available somewhere for this price? (Is doesn't show one on (Advance or Autozone)

    How about for a manual?

Is there a difference between between automatic and manual front drive shafts?

    If so why?

Fenco shows that there is a difference between manual and automatic..

    Although BMW does not..

      Just an FYI

Auto Zone has REAR CV Axles listed for 325ix as Duralast part number 5210 - Alternate Part number 60-9037..

      For 1990 BMW 325ix $69.99 plus core charge ($75.00)
