What the beep?

Anyone else have a three beep syndrome in your ix.
From time to time I hear three beeps in a row from what sounds like the door dinger. As far as I know it just likes to beep. Life with the ix...

Could be your ambient temperature sensor thinks it's below 38 degrees?

Factory stereo? My radio does that when the tape deck is dirty, it sounds like dinner's ready.

ME button on the OBC just before the hour mark. If the OBC shows ME in the display you should hear three beeps just before the hour mark at "x:59"

Just press the ME button so the OBC doesn't show ME and it should turn that function off.

Winner winner chicken dinner? Those Germans were so far ahead of their time. Maybe it's for manifold cooking? I could see a nice manifold roasted beer brat in the future and the ix will know when it is done. Damn could it get any better. Kegerator in the spare tire well... And...

mine used to do this when i first got it but it has since stopped,, always wondered wtf it was

I agree with NNW about the Three chimes on the hour.

You probably have the "ME" button pushed on your clock.

It warns you 15 seconds before the start of a new hour. So if it is 11:59:45, the clock will beep three times to let you know.

Memo button on OBC toggles it on or off.
