Thinkin' about sellin' my 91 325ix...hate to see it go, but sacrifices must be made sometimes. Just want to see what kind of interest there is out there for it. Here are some details.
- 1991 325ix, alpine white, black leather gut, heated seats :D
- paint is clean 7.5/10, would be 8.5-9 with a good buff
- auto trans, 170,xxx miles
- new low beams
- kenwood h/u
- fan clutch done @170k
- plugs/air filter done @160k
- belts done @130k
- fuel filter done @145k
- rear rotors/pads done @155k
- rear shocks/mounts done @165k
- throttle body gasket done @169k
- injectors done @165k
- front cv boots inner/outter done @170k
- misc coolant hoses done @170k
- 14" enkei rims (don't know the model) painted BBS Gold (weave spare)
- all electronics work (OBC, windows, seats, heat, A/C, etc)
- thule roof rack (bars and gutter pack), new hood and trunk roundels
- AWD system works the way it should, VC has been serviced regularly according to OP.
the bad:
- rear diff is on its way out. makes grinding noises when crusing, but not as much grinding while accelerating.
- idle position wasn't correct when i bought the car. had the guys at md motorwerke put it in the proper position which led to a rough idle problem. since then i replaced the injectors, air filter, and plugs. idle is much better, but still a little rough at times.
- brake lining light is on due to the PO removing the sensor harness, sensor cannot be replaced.
- penny size rust spot on fender by skirt
- small crack on windsheild on corner, will not spider
I believe I touched on everything, but if anything else comes to light i'll be sure to include it. Drove this car daily with no problems.
