    Slow turn Clunk/clicking

I was getting a slow turn speed clunk/rotaional click from my drivers front side(only when steering was pretty hard over). I thought for sure it was the front CV joint. I bought a replacement used axle(assured it's good), just had it put in. I'm still getting the exact same noise...

    Pretty frustrated!

    Any thoughts?

u sure its comign from that side? If your front driveshaft splines are stripping, you'll hear a clicking/rattling sound as you turn.

Could be a bad wheel bearing, but those failures come with a noticeable drone at speed from the wheel it's on, and given it's in the front, you definitely would have noticed it under breaking.

The clicking you heard with the weight off the wheels could have been the CV on the opposite side playing tricks on you since the diff connects the two.

Do you hear clicking turning hard in both directions? If not, when do you hear it? Hard right will be driver's side CV, hard left, passenger side CV.
