Hi all, hoping someone has had the same issue, and can tell me what to look for next.
Car starts, but immediately stops like it is getting no fuel. But after 8 to 10 tries it stays running and seems to run well.
So far it has only happened when the car is sitting outside, and the weather is colder. For example it started fine Monday and the high was -10 C. Tuesday and Wednesday the high was -18 C, and both days took multiple starts until it did not stall. Will see what happens later today.
I have ruled out vacuum leaks, AFM has been cleaned, and fuel filter is relatively new.
Thinking it could be any of the following: fuel pressure regulator (although it was replaced 3 or 4 years ago), fuel pump, coolant sensor, throttle position sensor, idle control valve, or ????
Thanks
