    Collapse rear drive shaft?

    Yeah can you collapse it by the diff? It kinda looks like it but im not sure.
    E30 325ix M50 turbo 7 spd DCT 4wd 840awhp @ 31 psi.
    E30 M50 6 spd 764whp @ 24psi.
    E30 M20 6 spd 675whp.

    yes loosen the large nut 1 -2 turns and pray to the rust gods that they will allow it to slide/collapse !

        yes that is normally the case Re: the "rust gods" mention....even if you get it loose they usually dont like to slide either..might have to soak it with PB Blaster for awhile (dont apply heat as that will damage the bellows)

        if you get it out its worth taking the time to disassemble it and coat everything with anti-sieze to prevent further issues.

          Yeah i sprayed it real good, but im trying to get the gearbox in a steep angle and get the shaft loose up front :) Not going to reuse any of this anyway so im a little hard on it haha :P
