yes that is normally the case Re: the "rust gods" mention....even if you get it loose they usually dont like to slide either..might have to soak it with PB Blaster for awhile (dont apply heat as that will damage the bellows)
if you get it out its worth taking the time to disassemble it and coat everything with anti-sieze to prevent further issues.Angus
