Assembling manual transfer case with auto parts

So I need a little help. I have an empty manual transfer-case shell and a good automatic case, and I want to put everything in the manual case. Are there any manual specific parts I need before I can do this? Are all the parts a direct swap?

    Thanks

the input shaft is different. you will need one of those. everything else is pretty much the same.

Don't know anything about assembling but I want to swap to a stick hift in my IX too. Why did you decide to build your own, Would it be cheaper to do it this way?
I spend 90% of my money and women, cars, and booze. The other 10% is wasted.

It depends on how cheap you can find the manual case. It's usually cheaper to just but a complete manual case. In my situation I had access to a bunch of auto cases, so I figured I'd just build one.

Thank you sir. Thankfully the case I bought came with the input shaft, so looks like I am good to go.
