Clutch master or clutch slave cylinder?

My pedal sometimes sticks halfway depressing the pedal + the catch point is very low. When we did the 5-speed swap 2yrs ago, I replaced both slave & master w/ autozone duralast parts (needed the parts that day), so I was forced to go cheap.

I haven't tried to bleed the clutch yet, but in the event that doesn't solve the issue, does anyone know if this could either be a clutch master or clutch slave issue?

Usually when a master or slave goes bad it leaks fluid. Sometimes the master doesn't though. Do you have to top off the fluid now and then?

negative no leaks, and the reservoir is full

Then I would guess air or master, could be wrong though :)

You said in your initial post that you were going to do a bleed. Did that help at all, or have you gotten around to it yet?

Bleeding the clutch made all the difference in the world! Have resistance now and grabs perfectly
