    tolerance of tire size differences

OK, I didn't think about this until I was forced to think about this...
Is a 205/55R15 Euroweave an ok spare when running 205/50r16s? The diameter of the 15" spare is 23.9", versus 24" for the 16" wheels. is the 0.1" difference going to mess things up?
    TIA

Calculate the RPM difference at a speed you like.

Shouldn't be a problem. Just make sure you put it on the front of the car as to avoid extra wear on the diff.

You might place them side by side and see how much they actually vary. Calculated tie sizes are not accurate due to different manufacturers and tread wear.

if you get in a situation where you need a spare, run the spare but don't drive like that for 200 miles. get your tire fixed and back on the car as soon as you can.
