    rear wheel bearing

I need to replace the rear wheel bearing on my 1990 325ix. I want to make sure I have all the parts before I tear into it.

Do I need to purchase a new 30mm nut? Can this be re-used?

Do I need to purchase a new locking plate? Can this be re-used?

    Thanks!

Definitely replace the locking plate, they usually get mangled pulling them out. You are technically supposed to replace the nut, but you can re-use it. They are cheap, so I would just replace them. Who knows how rusty yours are or if you might strip the hex a bit getting it off.
