I keep hearing about an 80's or early 90's magazine article (I think Road and Track) comparing the 325IX to the early Audi Quattro.
Could anyone help me find a scanned copy of this?
I'd be curious to read it!

Try searching "History of the IX" in google. There is another site like this that has an article that compares the Quattro, IX, Celica, Pontiac... I am sure you have seen this before, but maybe this is what you were thinking of.
