Hey guys,
I've been wondering, lately I did a lot of slow driving with my E30 because traffic and whenever I need to press in the clutch fast to stop the car when in first gear, there is a clunk-clunk-clunk noise coming from underneath, it sounds like it's coming from the clutch area.
Anyone else noticed this on their iX too? Were you able to get rid of it?
My iX touring just passed 250k kms, as far as I know it still have the original clutch/TOB. (The TOB does seem to rattle a bit/make a ticking noise especially when it's hot outside) Although I don't think this is causing the clunking noise when pressing in the clutch pedal.
I've done some more research on this and it seems E46s have the tame problem although it seems that it's coming from the rear because of worn diff bushings.
Any thoughts?
