Using 325i Front Fenders on an IX

    Hello All,

I have been looking at realOEM pics and examining my front fenders this morning and have come to the conclusion I need some help.

A local craigslist ad near me lists 2 front fenders for a 325i at a reasonable price and they are in much better condition than my own.

I know that the flares are an issue and the mounting of the body kit as well.

My question is, does anyone have experience with acquiring front fenders for a regular 325i/is and transferring the IX flares and body kit onto them?

    Thanks!

They work and will fit just fine but you have to drill some holes in them to mount the flares. Make sure you paint the holes after drilling or those fenders will cancer out too!
The difference between porcupines and BMWs is that porcupines have the pricks on the outside!

I used a regular 2wd fender without the holes and used some high bond adhesive to glue the flare on. I was able to line everything up like I wanted and didn't have to worry a bit about rust from drilling holes.
