    Need help identifying chopped wires!

Hey everybody, new here (first post). I just bought a non-running 91 325ix which has been sitting for 6 years, and slowly trying to work through it and get it running again.

There's some chopped wires, and I'm trying to identify what those would go to and see what problem I got in my hands... Heres the image. Anyone know or have ideas? The chopped wires are circled in white and red, and the red line is tracing where the rest of the cable goes. It seems to join the larger cable grouping that is behind the fuse box.

Fyi, I have not tried starting the car, so I don't know if those wires affect it. I'm going to be changing timing belt, tensioner, etc this weekend, so waiting for that to try and actually start it. I have purchased and mounted a new battery, and some electrical things don't work. Namely the headlights and power windows (I don't know condition of the motor yet though, will check next). There was also a 7.5 amp fuse that needed replacing (#22). This is all I know right now as far as electrical condition of the car.

Image again if link doesn't work:

Get a multimeter and see if that has power when the car is on. I think it's the aux fuse box power wire, but hard to know for sure. Simple way to find out is using a multimeter though. Touch one side to the wire and one side to ground with the car in first or second position.
