    Metal to Plastic bumper questions

What are people generally paying for all the plastic parts for the swap? I want to do the swap but I want to get a price idea first. Thanks

If you're lucky like I was, you should be able to get everything from a junkyard @ about 140 -160 bucks including adjusters and shocks!

    Good luck with your mod...

As was mentioned, finding what you need at a junkyard is the cheapest way possible. Now in my case, where I live you hardly ever find E30's in junkyards-and if you do they are usually diving board cars. So I bit the bullet and contacted user td325ic-he will supply you with a complete (and when I say complete, I mean COMPLETE-down to every last nut and bolt) plastic bumper swap 'kit'. Not only that, but he will also pre-modify the rear bumper and the rear bumper trim to fit the pre-'88 body, saving you a lot of time and effort.

I think I bought the first kit from him, and he really undercharged me for the kit considering the amount of work he did-so I won't tell you the price I paid since it is no longer accurate. I would guesstimate that including shipping you will be in the $600-700 range for his kit. It sounds like a lot, but if you can't find what you need locally then this is about the only good option-plus remember once again the rear bumper will already be modified to properly fit. PM him to find out what his current prices are.
