So I feel like the biggest dummy of all time. Was detailing the engine bay, doing the typical gunk/detailer and rubber restorer and got good results. The problem started when I tried to remove the cosmoline with a power washer (I read others have done this). I didn’t realize until it was too late the power washer was ripping the paint right off the seam sealant. I now have sand colored areas of missing paint and stumped on what to do. Do I grab a can of color matching spray paint and do my best? The car is beautiful otherwise and really beating myself up over this.
