Taking Off the Front Bumper and Valence

I need to take them both off and do a re-paint on them as well as get some new fog lights in. I went out there today to see how to take it off and was not sure what to do first. Someone tell me where to start, because as of now, I'm quite confused.

P.S. - I'm aware this is probably a very simple and easy question. :D

    ..u should search -.-

diving board: access from behind the Al bumper itself with a small ratchet, 4x 13mm bolts. bumper slides/falls off

plastic: you need a torx socket.. a big one, like a T50. there's one on each side under the bumper. look up you cant miss em. bumper will slide off. if you've had body damage it'll be harder to slide off.
    No more e30s for me.

thats what was throwing me off. those fuckin torx sockets. I saw those and don't have any torx sockets so I guess thats where I'm stuck. After thats, I should def. be able to handle it. Thanks.

Ok, so I don't own the proper size torx socket. Does anyone know the exact size so I can go down and pick one up?
