Aftermarket vs OEM NOS Chrome Bumpers

I purchased a very used Euro bumper set a few years ago and am now finally trying to find the pieces that are too far gone to complete the set. Does anyone have experience with aftermarket bumpers? Any reason I should pay a premium for OEM NOS? For example, I can get a left rear chrome bumper made by Diederichs for $109 (https://www.schmiedmann.com/en/produ...t=51121922161U) or NOS on eBay for $220.

I don't recommend aftermarket chrome bumpers, the chrome is not smooth and mine are already starting to rust after 6 months just trash.

Good to know. Where did you purchase yours?

I purchase mine in the netherlands but it was also HD Diederichs I think van Wezel is the same. I have sourced a set of NOS bumpers in Germany on ebay kleinanzeigen.

I ended up finding some NOS on eBay for $160 and decided to go with those over the HD Diederichs based on your experience. I appreciate the help!
