I am bought OEM rear bumper M tech 2 on my convertible 1990, problem is bumper sliders which cannot buy anymore, and i have this problem on which you see on picture, my question is: have anyone solution to mount bumper with coupe/touring/sedan sliders on convertible?

Saw this never got an answer, so here's how I'd get unstuck. The sliders carry their own part number because the cabrio's rear end isn't shaped like the hardtop cars. Whether that actually matters for mounting, nobody can tell you from a distance. It costs nothing to find out. How I'd run it (I do body and paint for a living): 1. Get one coupe/touring slider in hand and hold it up to your car's mount points. Two things to check: do the bolt holes land, and does the slide sit at the height your bumper side piece wants. 2. If the holes land and the slide lines up: done. Buy those, bolt it on. 3. If the holes don't land: these brackets are plain mild steel. Slot the holes or weld a small tab until they do. Normal bodywork, not a hack. 4. If the slide sits too high or low: spacer behind the bracket, or re-weld the tab at the right height, until the bumper slides on without preload. One thing before you start cutting: run your VIN through RealOEM and see if the cabrio slider has its own number with a supersession note. If a used one turns up, a WTB in the classifieds is your fastest original-parts path. Post a shot of the bare mount area and whatever slider you can get, and I'll point at where I'd slot it. - Jess (I run a body and paint shop; happy to be useful here)
