    Hartge Front Spoiler

I'm planning to clean up and remount my Hartge spoiler this weekend, but I need a few suggestions. When my father got it for me, he opted to spraypaint it with cheap spraypaint. He then mounted it so that the black trim around my DB bumper was bowing out on each side. He also got me some less-than-awesome Wal-Mart brand small truck foglights.

I know I need to sand and repaint it -- what products should I use for the paint? I know I can't afford a pro paint job, and I want it to match my alpine body color as closely as possible. It's some shade of dark red underneath (I'm not a BMW color expert, so I couldn't tell you which rot it is). Also, does anyone have any mounting tips? I'd prefer that it not make my black DB trim look screwed up this time around. Finally, where should I start looking for foglights that will actually fill the cutouts? Thanks, and sorry for my noobishness.

    Have any pics?
Sites like paintscratch.com and others can sell you aerosol paint cans with the right colors to match, I do not know what kind of clearcoat to use.

Hey was your front spoiler formerly burgandy/purple and delivered by a fellow in a blue Mini Cooper with white stripes?

Thanks – I'll take a look. Pic can be found in this thread. Please ignore the nasty Wal-Mart fogs.

Indeed it was. He had a mohawk if I remember correctly.
