    Refreshening Trim

So I just resprayed my car and im trying to make everything "fresh". My bumper trim on almost each side has does almost obligatory scratch marks from past ill maneuverings!

I SEM trim painted my chrome trim over my windows but soon found out it chipped from having tape over it for a day. Would the SEM trim paint really be a long term solution for the bumper trim or is there some other way? (In which I think it's not)

SEM, DupliColor and Mar-hyde (and others) make "bumper coat" products that remain flexible = a better choice for the plastic parts.
Before paining your metal parts with Trim Coat, did you scuff the finish and used a self-etching primer?

Krylon also makes fairly durable plastic paint for that application that is a little bit easier to find.

          OMG OMG PLASTI-DIP.....

But seriously, it works really well. Ive painted a few things on my car with it, and it seems to hold up well. Time will tell though.
