    Anyone know the weight and approx. dimensions of the door?

    I'm trying to get Bavauto to ship me a door they have in stock. They want $180 for shipping to FL.
    I'm in UK so I can't take the measurements myself. I just need the approx. weight and dimensions of the door (coupe) itself (41511965018 ).

      48" Wide 40" Tall 11" thick. If you were gonna box it. Got to be 50lbs I'm guessing.

              What is so special about that door? I just think there HAS to be a cheaper way...

                  I'm going on a limb and assuming you're shipping it to Florida and not England.

                  Bear with me for one second: It's a door. A set of wheels (which are much smaller) costs about $100 to ship. A door is probably hitting every single oversize rule in UPS/Fedex's books. I'm not surprised they want $180.

                      Fedex is showing $115 insured.

                      Yes, it's to Florida.

                      I need a new or used door panel. The door itself on Bavauto is new, but painted silver already. I'm going to be having my car resprayed this summer most likely. And Bavauto want $75 for the door plus shipping. So, if I can get a new door for $180 shipped (compared to $450+ at dealer), I think that's a pretty good deal...


                      BTW Eric, I haven't seen you in a while.... I don't suppose you could give me some drift lessons, could you? :p
