    best way to fix dent in hood (non bmw content)

    my dad is giving me some money to fix some damage to his friends car. what is the best way to get the dent out of this hood. it is fairly miner and should be easy to get out. thanks guys.

          small piece of wood like a short piece of 2x4 as a dolly (backer on the outside of the hood).
          a dead blow (coated) hammer or rubber mallet on the inside. the paint may or may not crack when you move the hood edge back, be aware of that.

            Put a rag around the edge of the hood. Like one layer on each side. Grab a good size adjustable wrench and tighten it over the hood and rag and slowly bend it back in place. Do a little at a time and work your way back and forth.
            I had the same exact bend on my e30 hood and this is how I fixed it. Worked flawless and you cant even tell it was there..
