    ES Front Spoiler Mounting

I have the es front spoiler and the brackets are pretty much broken all around. However I still have the main metal bracket attached to the car which allows me to slide on the spoiler but the sides of the spoiler have no support at all. Does anyone with this spoiler have any tips on giving the spoiler some more support and to make it more flush with the bumper. (I do not want to simply screw the spoiler to the bottom of the diving board as I have seen a few people here do)

I had an ES spoiler on my Eta and I mounted it with self tapping screws in to the bumper, no stock mounting brackets were used at all, worked great.

I went to Home depot and bought the 1/8" thick by 1" wide aluminum strips to use as make shift brackets until i could find an intact piece. Just go to HD and go to where the steel and alm rods are, buy that. Then all you need is a vice or something similar to bend the aluminum to the shape you need.

Mine turned out so well, i said forget about the hard-to-find brackets. Make sure you use alm or stainless nuts and bolts, or you'll have a lovely time tryig to remove those things after a winter or rain season or two...
