That's why I love Fred Air aka the C-5 customs is free and shipping across the pond is free. Just getting it to plane is a PIA lately.

Here is some suggestions,
- UPS is the way to go to avoid broker fees. Those fees can get VERY expensive, expect to pay at least $150-200 flat fee just for the broker to sign some papers. This is on top of the shipping fees.
- Boat shipping will be cheapest but take the longest. I'm not positive if UPS can provide you with boat shipping or not. Only used them with Air.
- Customs will be ~3%.
- I would expect to pay under $400 for air via UPS if he can get it into the small box possible. Maybe half that for boat.
Looks like you found a nice deal there!
So if i can get this thing on a UPS boat then it will be the cheapest? Waiting a month really wouldnt bother me

506 bucks for a full mtech1 kit shipped from the Britain is a pretty damn good price.
How is he shipping it? Are you certain that you won't need a customs broker?Originally posted by Grueliusand i do not know what bugg brakes are.

Its being shipped by UPS and i think its gonna go on a boat.
Im not sure if i like the mtech side skirts. I'll have to try the zenders and the mtech to see which one I like, then i'll sell the other.

You should probably find out if UPS does their own customs brokering or not. And if they do, you should find out how much it's going to be. I paid $350 for a private broker to sign about 3 pieces of paper. Of course I imported about $3000 or so worth of parts, but the declared value was around $250. (I think some of the wheels were declared at $5 each lol).Originally posted by Grueliusand i do not know what bugg brakes are.
